RETAIL FAQ

WE ARE NOT TECHNICALLY A RETAILER

We currently operate two locations of The Vortex Bar & Grill in Atlanta, Georgia. We sell Vortex-themed T-shirts (and other items) in both of our bars. As a convenience to our die-hard fans, we also sell stuff (that’s easy to ship) through our website. Vortex co-owner, Suzanne, actually does all the fulfillment for the on-line orders. Remember, we’re just a little family-run bar, not some fancy-ass retailer. So be nice to Suzanne. She’s just trying to help you.

WHERE WE SHIP

Suzanne will ship orders to any residential address, commercial address or post office box located in the contiguous United States, plus Alaska and Hawaii. She does not ship internationally or to APO or FPO addresses. Sorry, that’s just how it is.

OUR SHIPPING METHOD

Suzanne ships all orders “Priority Mail” through the U.S. Postal Service. The shipping charges for your order are based on the current standardized USPS rates, and will be added to your total charge amount.

WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR ORDER

Suzanne will usually ship out orders within 2-4 days of receiving them, unless she’s taking a little vacation. She’s been known to do that. Therefore, do NOT place any orders if you’re trying to meet some super-tight deadline, like a birthday or holiday, because we don’t want you to be disappointed.

GEORGIA TAXES

Our business is located in Georgia, so by law, we are required to charge an 8% sales tax on orders we receive from within the State. We do not currently charge sales tax on any orders that we receive from outside the State of Georgia. The Feds may change that policy in the future.

PAYMENT METHODS

We only accept the following credit cards as payment: Visa, Mastercard or American Express. We do not accept any other credit cards, or any other forms of payment, and we will not ship any orders “COD.”

RETURNS

We offer a return option within 14 days from the date your order was originally shipped, as long as the item(s) remain unwashed, unworn and undamaged. If you decide you do not want to keep your purchase for any reason, contact Suzanne directly to arrange the return. All returns must include the original invoice that accompanied the order. You will be required to pay for the return shipping. Once the item(s) have been received by Suzanne, and been determined to be in original condition, she will credit the purchase amount back to your charge card. The credit you receive will be for the cost of the item(s) with the original shipping fee deducted. Shipping charges are not refundable.

EXCHANGES

We offer an exchange option within 14 days from the date your order was originally shipped, as long as the item(s) remain unwashed, unworn and undamaged. If you want a different size or style of the shirt you ordered, contact Suzanne directly to arrange the exchange. All exchanges must include the original Invoice that accompanied the order. You will be required to pay for the return shipping. Once the item(s) to be exchanged have been received by Suzanne, and been determined to be in original condition, she will ship the replacement item(s). You will also be responsible for the cost of our shipping the new item to you. Returns received without shipping reimbursement payment will not be accepted.

INACCURACIES, TYPOS & PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Our attorney suggested we let you know the following: The information and product listings on The Vortex website may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. Nobody’s perfect. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to product description, pricing and availability. We also reserve the right to limit or restrict quantities of products (including after you have submitted your order) for any reason, without limitation, at our sole discretion. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, or error in pricing, or product information received from our affiliates, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and you have been charged for the sale. If you have already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a credit to the credit card account originally used by you to make the purchase.
