ON-PREMISE RECORDINGS
Video filming, still photography and audio recording may all take place on THE VORTEX premises at different times for a variety of purposes. The list below represents our Company Policies with regard to these various forms of image and sound capture.
1. In-House Security System: THE VORTEX premises are under 24-hour surveillance. All activity is digitally recorded for purposes of crime prevention and public safety. There should be no expectation of privacy, as THE VORTEX is a gathering place that is open to the public. By entering the premises you consent to this audio and video recording, and waive any and all rights to the ultimate use of the content created.
2. Filming by Production Companies: Whenever an outside Production Company is recording content on THE VORTEX premises, a NOTICE will be posted on every entry door. By entering the premises under these circumstances you consent to your voice and image being recorded. Certain Production Companies (and other commercial entities) may further request that you to sign a consent form so that your voice and/or image may be utilized in final versions of any production.
3. Promotion & Marketing: THE VORTEX maintains the right to actively engage in photography, as well as video and audio recording on our premises, at any and all times, in order to create content for advertising, marketing and for other purposes. By entering the premises you acknowledge and consent to being included in any type of recording that may be taking place, and waive any and all rights to the ultimate use of the content created.
4. Customer Recordings: THE VORTEX welcomes patrons to take pictures and/or otherwise record on-premise, in order to create content about THE VORTEX for use on their personal social media pages. Patrons are not permitted to photograph, film or otherwise record anyone on the premises that does not wish to be filmed or recorded, because we seek to avoid the harassment of our customers. Therefore, management reserves the right to revoke permission to take pictures or otherwise record on our premises at any time.
